Vendor-Craft — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Vendor-Craft keeps the business details behind your shows together in one place. That can include financial information, contacts, mileage, notes and photos. This policy explains where that information lives, when anything leaves your device, and the choices you have along the way.

Your records stay on your device

Vendor-Craft does not require an account or sign-in, and we do not operate a cloud service that stores your Vendor-Craft records. We do not receive, see or store a copy of the shows, finances, contacts, notes or other records you enter. The only optional exception is Anonymous Usage Data, explained below, and that never includes the contents of your records.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter — shows and their dates, booth fees, expenses, mileage, hours, sales figures, notes, and any photos you attach — is stored locally on your device only, in a local database and local file storage. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it, unless you have saved a backup yourself.

You choose where backups go

Vendor-Craft can export your whole record — receipt and booth photos included — to a single backup file, and you choose where that file goes each time you export it. That might be your device, or a cloud drive you already use, such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive or Dropbox.

If you choose a cloud drive, your file goes to your account with that provider, under their terms and their privacy policy. It does not pass through us and we never receive a copy. The same applies to the CSV spreadsheet export and to anything you send through your device's own share sheet.

Photos and receipts

Photographing a receipt is optional, and keeping the photo afterwards is a separate choice — you can record the amount and discard the image, per receipt or by default. Photos live in local storage alongside the rest of your data and are included in a backup only if you have kept them.

The camera and your photo library are opened only when you choose to add a photo. Vendor-Craft does not read your library in the background and does not use location data.

No ads. Optional anonymous usage data.

Vendor-Craft has no ads or advertising trackers. It does include one optional analytics feature called Anonymous Usage Data, and it is off by default.

In Settings, under Privacy & Data, there is a switch called Anonymous Usage Data. Turn it on and the app sends a short, anonymous note when you use a feature — which screens you open, whether the setup wizard gets finished, whether a report failed to load. Those notes go to our analytics provider, Aptabase, whose servers are in the United States.

Those notes never include:

Alongside each note, Aptabase records the app version, your operating system, a rough region worked out from your IP address (the address itself is not stored), and a random session number that is discarded when you close the app and is never linked to you or to any earlier session.

Turn the switch off and sending stops immediately. Either way, we never receive a copy of your records — a usage note records only that something happened, never what it was about.

Purchases

Vendor-Craft is free to try and unlocks with a one-time purchase. That purchase is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. Apart from the optional Anonymous Usage Data feature described above, verifying a purchase is the only time the app communicates outside your device — with Apple or Google, never with us. We do not see or receive your payment details, your billing address, or your store account.

Children's privacy

Vendor-Craft is a business bookkeeping tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, an updated version will be posted at this same address with a revised date above. If a future version of the app adds another optional feature that sends data somewhere, it will be described here before it ships, and it will be off unless you turn it on.
